(TibetanReview.net, Apr27, 2018) – A delegation of Members of the European Parliament (MEP) is to visit Dharamshala, India, in the second week of May, said the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) on its Tibet.net website Apr 26. It said the decision was announced the day before at the Tibet Interest Group (TIG) meeting in the European Parliament.
The delegation will be led by Mr Thomas Mann, Ramon Tremosa and Csaba Sogor. They will be accompanied by their spouses and two Assistant. The CTA’s Brussels and Paris-based Representative Mr Tashi Phuntsok will accompany the delegation.
The meeting was also stated to have discussed the report of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament on EU-China relations. The Paris-based Bureau du Tibet and ICT were reported to have proposed numerous amendments to the draft report.
