(TibetanReview.net, Nov 19) — Eighteen people were killed and another 29 injured, including 17 seriously, when a bus carrying 47 people onboard ran off the road and plunged into a valley on its way from Pachen county to its prefectural capital Nagqu Town at around 8:50 am on Nov 14, reported China’s official Xinhua news agency Nov 17. The bus was reported to be overloaded with its seating capacity being 36. The injured were reportedly sent to major hospitals in Lhasa and in stable condition. The report did not state the ethnic and other details about the victims.
