More than 1500 people had gathered in Paris on Mar 10 to commemorated the 62nd Tibetan National Uprising Day.

(TibetanReview.net, Mar13’21) – More than 1500 people had gathered in Paris on Mar 10 to commemorated the 62nd Tibetan National Uprising Day with the participation of city elected leaders, according to the Office of Tibet, Paris, Mar 13. The venue was the Place du Trocadér.

The chief guests for the event was Ms EMMANUELLE Pierre, Mayor of Paris 12; Mr ROMERO-MICHEL Jean-Luc, Deputy Mayor of Paris; Ms Audrey Pulvar, Deputy Mayor of Paris. They have assured support for the Tibetan cause and also noted that His Holiness the Dalai Lama remained an honorary citizen of the city of Paris.

The event was stated to have been jointly organized by the Tibetan Community France, U-Tsang Association France, Chushigangdruk Association France, Domey Association France, SFT France and RTYC.

In Strabourg, home to the European Parliament, the Tibetan Community organized a protest march from Place Kléber to the European Union. More than 45 people were stated to have joined the protest.
