(TibetanReview.net, Aug13, 2015) – Along with receiving the 2015 Liberty Medal of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, United States, on Oct 26, Tibet’s exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, will give a religious teaching and address the public at two events over Oct 26-27, reported philly.com Aug 11. It noted that the 1989 Noble Peace laureate’s visit would follow that of Pope Francis who would be in the City of Brotherly love in September.

The religious teaching, to be held on Oct 26, will be on the Eight Verses for Training the Mind, outlining Buddhist teachings on loving and kindness. This afternoon event will be held at La Salle University’s Hayman Center.

On the following day, the Dalai Lama will lead a morning forum on finding happiness in the world. The venue will be the Liacouras Center.

Coinciding with the Dalai Lama’s visit, a celebratory evening of Tibetan music and dance, featuring performances from members of Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, will be held at the Church of the Holy Trinity.
