Dalai Lama touring US-Canada over October 21 – November 4

(TibetanReview.net, Oct22, 2014) – Tibet’s exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, is visiting the USA and Canada where he is to take part in a series of public talks, give religious teachings and hold discussions with scientists over Oct 21-Nov 4.

The visit began in Canada, where he participated in a forum with leading scientists in economics, neuroscience, psychology and public policy on the theme of ‘Science of Education of the Heart’ at the Vancouver Convention Center on Oct 21. He is also to give a religious teaching in the city on Oct 23 before traveling to the USA where he will visit Birmingham, Boston and New York City.

In Boston he will give a talk at the International Symposium for Contemplative Studies organized by the Mind and Life Institute on Oct31. On Nov 1, US Senator Elizabeth Warren will introduce him before he gives a public talk on “Educating the Heart and Mind” requested by the Tibetan Association of Boston.

Over Nov 3-4, the Dalai Lama will give a religious at the Beacon Theater, New York, organized by Tibet House US.
