It was not clear yet when the building would commence. The report said the centre will be located in Dongcheng District of Lhasa city, and cover an area of 33,330 sq m with a total floor space of 100,000 sq m.

The first exhibition centre in the Tibet Autonomous Region will be a multi-functional building integrating exhibition halls, meeting rooms, a press centre, a commercial business centre, and a five-star hotel, the report said.
