(TibetanReview.net, Mar 03, 2009) — China National Radio (CNR) launched on Mar 1 a new Tibetan channel. The service already had a daily four-hour Tibetan broadcast which has now been extended to 18 hours. The launch was announced by Hu Zhanfan, deputy director of the State Administration of Radio Film and Television, at a press conference held at the China Tibetology Research Center on Feb 28, reported China’s online Tibet news service eng.Tibet.cn Feb 28.
