(TibetanReview.net, Feb 15) – The Nyingchi (Tibetan: Nyingtri) Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region is set to receive an influx of Chinese entrepreneurs and, with it, Chinese migrants this year, according to China’s online Tibet news service eng.tibet.cn Feb 14. The report said the prefecture will define 2009 as “the year of investment” and seek to attract 1.85 billion (yuan?) social investments.
For this purpose, it will, firstly, simplify the procedures, shorten the service time, reduce the service costs and implement effective policies to establish a good investment environment.
Secondly, it said, more kinds of platforms would be set up to attract entrepreneurs from Guangdong, Fujian and other Chinese provinces.
And, thirdly, more biological science and technology industrial parks would be built up to create the environment with high efficiency, low cost, excellent services for the investment enterprises.
