(TibetanReview.net, Apr23, 2014) – The heads of the overseas missions of the exile Tibetan administration have gathered for their annual meet at Dharamsala from 22 to 25 Apr, said the administration on its Tibet.net website Apr 22. The statement said the meeting will include an International Diplomatic Advocacy Training for the participants from the 11 Offices of Tibet.
The statement said the participants in the meeting included Mr Kalsang Gyaltsen, Special Representative to the EU; Kasur Tempa Tsering (New Delhi, India); Mr Kaydor Aukatsang (Washington, US); Mr Tamdin Dorjee (Kathmandu, Nepal); Mr Tseten Samdup (Geneva, Switzerland); Mr Lhakpa Tshoko (Tokyo, Japan); Mr Thubten Samdup (London, UK); Mr Dagpo Sonam Norbu (Canberra, Australia); Mr Ngodup Dorjee (Brussels, Belgium), Mr Ngawang Rabgyal (Moscow, Russian Federation); Mr Dawa Tsering (Taipei, Taiwan); Mr Tsewang Phuntso (Liaison Officer for Latin America at the Office of Tibet, Washington, DC), and Joint Secretary Tsering Dhondup, Secretary of the Bureau Du Tibet (Paris, France). Also participating are Mr Lungtok and Mrs Nangsa Choedon following their recent appointments to newly head the Offices of Tibet in Tokyo and South Pretoria, Africa.
The mission heads serve as Representatives of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the exiled spiritual leader of Tibet, but are appointed by the cabinet of the exile administration.
