(TibetanReview.net, Apr 03, 2009) — The government of Tibet Autonomous Region hopes to attract investments totalling 10 billion yuan for 122 projects during the 13th Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East and West China opening in Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi Province, on Apr 4, reported the official Xinhuanet Apr 1.
It cited a senior official of the Tibet Regional Investment Promotion Bureau as saying the projects would cover fields such as tourism, Tibetan medicines, new energy resources, Tibetan handicrafts, logistics park development, mining, agricultural and animal by-product processing.
The offer is open to both Chinese and foreign investors.
