(TibetanReview.net, Apr24’19) – The Dalai Lama has moved to his residence at the Tibetan Youth Hostel in Rohini, Delhi, on Apr 22 from his hotel for few days’ rest before returning to Dharamsala. He had flown to New Delhi on Apr 9 for treatment of a chest infection.

The 83-year-old exiled spiritual leader of Tibet spent three days in the Max Hospital in Saket and then moved to a hotel where doctors continued to monitor his recovery progress.

He got down outside the youth hostel and took a walk around the place, greeting the large number of Tibetans who had lined up to greet him. He assured them that he was in back in good health and they should feel reassured and be at ease.

Chief representative Mr Dongchung Ngodup at the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, New Delhi, has said the Tibetan leader will return to Dharamshala after taking a few days’ rest at the hostel.
